Email and other issues

I know many of you are having trouble accessing your email on the new site, but don’t fret – no mail has been lost.¬† I just need to finish copying it to the new site.¬† I started doing that and most people should have the contents of their main inbox available, but not all the folders (yet).¬† It would have been done by now but we had a critical server at work crash and I’ve been down here at the office for about 35 hours straight rebuilding it (and I still have several more hours to go before I’ll be able to finally get some sleep)
In addition to the email itself, many people are concerned about the contacts in their address book.¬† Truthfully, I hadn’t thought about that until someone mentioned it, but I should be able to export contacts and import them into the new webmail system.¬† I’ll worry about that after I get the mail itself restored though.
Also I know the new site has been unavailable at times over the past couple of days.  This is related to the server failure I mention above.  The site is hosted at the web hosting business I own/operate and the server failure has caused some serious slow downs at times.  On top of that, Christian.net uses the Cloudflare CDN service to speed things up, and there have been a few issues with their service (unrelated to the issues on this end).
Anyway, that’s what’s going on.¬† I’m aware of the issues and I’m working hard to fix them ASAP and I’m the only person behind the site.¬† Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with technical support issues instead of posting comments at the bottom of these posts.¬† The comment area is intended more for discussions about the posting, I can’t monitor them all, especially right now.¬† Email is the best way to get your message to me at the moment.
