Pope Francis announced the 2025 Catholic Jubilee in January 2022, aptly titled ‘Pilgrims of Hope’. Time has moved fast since then and it’s now possible to see a full schedule of all the events and associated details of this Jubilee celebration. It’s even possible to download an app that will keep you up to date with all the details of the Jubilee.
Be Prepared First
It’s estimated millions of pilgrims will descend on Rome in 2025. Millions of other Catholics will visit churches in their own countries to pass through the Holy Door. It’s important to be aware of the schedule and to be prepared.
That means sorting out accommodation and travel arrangements early. You also need to consider your travel equipment. After all, while attending the events of the Jubilee 2025, you will need to bring several items with you. The Jubilee 2025 pilgrim’s backpack, available on Holyart, offers the perfect solution to keep everything organised and within reach during the celebrations.
If you know you’re prepared and have everything you need with you, you’ll be better placed to make the most of the Jubilee celebrations.

The Timeline
Although the Jubilee is listed as 2025, the Holy Door of Saint Peter’s Basilica actually opens on December 24, 2024. From that moment on, for an entire year, you’ll be able to pass through the door and celebrate the Jubilee while seeking absolution of all sins.
While you can achieve this goal by passing through any Holy Door, it’s symbolic and special to pass through the one in St Peter’s Basilica.
