Miracle Prayer: 10 Prayers For The Impossible

Miracles can happen to anyone. We all need miracles, big or small. They can manifest in any situation, whether you’re in need of a miracle for a job interview, a school exam, or maybe even a life or death situation. When we’re in need of a miracle, we can turn to prayer. It’s worth pointing out that a miracle prayer isn’t reserved for just life or death situations, though. God answers all prayers in due time, regardless of what the intention is.

How has the Lord blessed us with miracles? The bible teaches us how powerful His miracles can be. When you feel that nothing can fill you, remember that Jesus fed five thousand people with only five loaves of bread and two fish (Matthew 14:15-21). When you think that you can never recover, remember that Jesus cured a deaf and mute man (Mark 7:31-37)– a feat possible only with Christ. As the late C.S. Lewis once said, “We trust not because ‘a God’ exists, but because this God exists.” So, trust your faith in the Lord, because He alone is capable of the impossible.  Here are some powerful miracle prayers to seek Christ in any situation.

1. A Miracle Prayer

A prayer for a miracle is a prayer for help. When we pray to God asking for a miracle, we are essentially sending out a plea for help. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, because God will always be there to answer.

Dearest Jesus, help me, please. I come to You, our creator of miracles, in my time of need. Though I know You are always with me, times feel especially dark right now, and I need You now more than ever. You are my light in the darkness, and I know that I can only pick myself back up with You by my side. Only You know what’s in store for me, so I know that it is only through You will I find peace in these troubling times. I pray for Your guidance so that I may continue to move forward and make my way toward the miracle that I know You have planned for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2. A Miracle Prayer For The Impossible

Anything is possible with God. Even when a feat seems impossible – like recovery from a dire accident, for example – things can make a major turnaround. So long as we believe in the Lord, things will settle and be okay in the end.

Almighty Father, I pray that You hear my plea. I have all that I need because You are in my life, but right now especially, I need a miracle. Please give me a sign that the end of this turbulent time is near, because right now, it feels as if I am only set to drown in my despair. I believe You only have my best interests at heart, so I have faith that this too shall pass. Only You can make the impossible a reality, so I pray that the tides begin to turn in my favor. All things are possible with You, Lord, so I lift up these worries to You. I believe in a God bigger than my doubts and fears, so I know it is You who will turn my suffering into joy. I pray that I may never forget that all good can happen – even the impossible – so long as I believe in Your will. Amen.

3. A Short Miracle Prayer For Hope

Miracle prayers can make a powerful impact regardless of their length. God believes that all our worries are valid. He hears all of us, no matter how much or how little we may say. 

Dear God, thank You for watching over me. Times seem dark right now, but I know this is temporary. You are my greatest source of hope, for I know that You will never abandon me. I have faith that this prayer will reach You because You are our most all-knowing Lord. No matter how tough life can get, I always keep some hope in my heart that things will be better because I always feel You with me. You have never let me down, and I know You will continue to guide me no matter what comes my way. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

4. A Short Miracle Prayer For Healing

Sometimes it may feel impossible to pick ourselves back up, especially when the pain becomes too much. But, we must remain steadfast and keep going, because only God’s healing hands will end all suffering in life.

Oh Heavenly Father, thank You for granting me salvation from this suffering. I know I still have a long way to go, so I offer this prayer seeking Your guidance. Please continue to watch over me as I navigate through my recovery. I know I may stumble and fall from time to time, but my heart is at ease, knowing You will always be there to catch me. Asking for help can be hard, and some people struggle to ask for assistance more than others. We can offer a prayer to help ease the pain of our friends who struggle to ask for help because ultimately, only God will be able to truly save them from their plight.

They are in need of Your light, Lord, even though they may not vocalize their pain. Please bless my companion with your powerful healing hands. I pray that the pain they carry fades into nothing but a dull ache, and I know that in Your time, this pain will soon cease to exist. 6. A Miracle Prayer For A Loved One

Sometimes, the miracles we seek are not for ourselves, but for the people around us. The blessings we have are shared with those around us when we offer a miracle prayer to the Lord and pray for our loved one’s joy.

Dearest loving Father, thank You for being our everlasting companion on this journey of life. Today, I come to You with a prayer asking for a miracle. It is not for myself, but for one close to my heart. Though they may not say so, I can feel their hope beginning to fade. I fear that their faith in You is wavering, and so I pray that Your Holy Spirit makes itself known to my loved one. My own wishes can wait, for there are others around me who are in greater need of Your grace. Their happiness is mine, Lord, and I cannot truly enjoy the blessings You have provided me with when I know the ones I love are still in pain. I know the miracle of which they seek will manifest in due time, so long as You will it. This I pray to You, Amen.

7. A Prayer For Strength And Healing

It takes an incredible amount of strength and courage to face our traumas and embark on the journey towards healing. The Lord is our greatest source of strength, and with Him, we can take hold of anything we set our sights on.

Dear God the Father, I humbly ask that You continue to be my pillar of strength during these trying times. Please lend me Your strength as I face these challenges that test me. I know You would never put me in harm’s way, for You are the ultimate protector of my life. Lord, please grant me Your grace and serenity, so that I may be able to continue on this path You have set me on. My heart will only know peace if I have Your blessing, and so I lift up this prayer to You. I know the path ahead of me will be rocky and I will continue to struggle. But, there is no doubt in my mind that You will be there to light my way. Please continue to watch over me, Lord, for I know I will be able to overcome anything with You watching out for me. Amen.

8. A Prayer For Self-Healing

One of the biggest struggles any of us may face in life is the hurdle to forgive ourselves. But, taking the steps toward healing can be miraculous in itself. The road to recovery isn’t linear, but it is within our grasp with the grace of God.

Lord in heaven, I thank You for always being my constant companion throughout this journey of life. I have stumbled, fallen, and even hurt myself, but You always made sure that I would still be able to pick up the pieces and move forward. Thank You for granting me the resilience I need to fight for myself, as I know these wounds I carry will not heal unless I make the effort to actually help myself. You are always there when I need You, and for this, I am eternally grateful. I pray that I may continue to heal from past grievances, as I know they will not last. No suffering is permanent with You, Lord. The pain in my heart may still sting, but it also continues to fade as time goes by. I pray for the time that the pain will fade into nothingness completely, so that I may praise Your name with a carefree heart that shines with Your light. Amen.

Heavenly Father, my faith in You continues to grow stronger each day. You are always listening to my pleas, and all of my prayers are always answered without fail. Your word is true and everlasting, and it never leaves me disappointed. It is Your promises that perform these incredible miracles. I know no failure because when I fall, it is Your heavenly arms that will catch me time and time again. In You, there is abundance and success, and even in times of failure, there is a joy in my heart that will not waver, knowing I am not alone. May I continue to praise You and preach Your holy word, so that others may rejoice in their lives as Your followers. Amen.

10. Matthew 21:21

Dearest Christ above, I know that with You, I can do anything I set my heart on. I ask for Your guidance, so that I may fight any lingering doubts in my heart. These doubts may cause me to falter, but my everlasting faith is a reminder that these doubts are mere illusions that seek only to muddle Your light. I know I can achieve anything, for I am meant to live out Your will. With faith no doubts, I can do what was done to the fig tree and move mountains. May my faith in You continue to grow, for You continue to show me that anything can be done with You alone. With You, the smallest of miracles can take place in an instant.
