During seasons of trials and tiredness, where do you go? In times of need and weakness, what do you do? It isn’t helpful nor a solution to use your remaining energy, dwelling in your shortcomings whilst in the middle of a storm. Dwelling in your shortcomings will only drown you deeper into weariness instead of growing stronger in Christ. What you need in times of these struggles is a refreshment of your soul. This refreshment can only be found in God’s presence. Praying is an act of enjoying His majestic presence. We will overcome our fatigue and weaknesses with prayers for strength.
As a human, your body, mind, and capabilities are limited. Our strength fails; our hearts fail. This is why being connected to the source of all strength is vital. One of the most popular Bible Verses is Paul’s word to the Philippians. It says that we can do everything through Christ who gives us strength. He gives us everything and knitted us into amazing moving, breathing, and living masterpieces. He knows how to strengthen us in the best manner within our individual capabilities. Whenever you feel the need for strength. He’s just a prayer away.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
There are many people who have prayed specifically for strength. However, it is not physical strength they prayed for but emotional strength. Here are some examples of prayers for strength.
O Lord, we are at the limits of our power to help. For what we have left undone, forgive us, for what you have helped us to do, we thank you. For what must be done by others, lend your strength. Now shelter us in your peace which passes our understanding. Amen.

Heavenly Father, my heart and my strength is failing. I feel exhausted and tired of so many things happening in my life. I know that You are the God of peace, hope, and strength. Prayers in Your Weakness
The Apostle Paul who wrote much of the New Testament also struggled with weaknesses. However, the difference from our perspective is that Paul looked at his weaknesses as how God looked at it. The enemy might intend to use Paul’s weaknesses against him and use it for bad, but God did not. Our weaknesses allow us to be dependent on God’s power. He can work through us, despite our weakness. In fact, He can work in and through our weaknesses. Let these prayers for strength help you in your weakest season.

Prayers for Strength in Times of Trouble
While our strength has boundaries, God’s arms and love has no boundaries. There are no problems too difficult that He cannot solve or overcome. Whenever we feel overwhelmed by the adversities of life, we can ask God for the strength to carry on and move on. We can trust God to be with us as he helps us in times of trouble. Lord, thank You for alerting us in Your Word to the tactics and activity of the devil. Thank You also for equipping us with spiritual weaponry to stand firm and push back against his assaults and his campaign of lies, distortions, distractions, and accusations. Prayers for Endurance
Apostle Paul had a wise, yet challenging advice to the Church of Romans in his letter. He instructed them to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12). When we are suffering, there is a need to endure and be still. Although this is quite a difficult truth to accept, we are assured of God’s comfort amid these seasons. Prayers for Strength When You’re Weary
It is difficult to pause in the middle of the worries and busy schedules of our daily lives. Because we are so preoccupied with a lot of things going around, we forget to take a break and renew our strength. Our souls get weary also as well as our physical bodies. Jesus encouraged the weary in this manner, He said:
Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest
You can always find rest and peace in God when you are tired and have nowhere to go and no one to turn to. These prayers for strength are helpful when you find yourself weary and exhausted.
Lord, I am weary and don’t know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel like I’ve been running forever, trying to outrun this trial. In whatever circumstances we have, may it be under or above waters, our best weapon always includes prayer. Our God has an overflowing and never-ending supply of strength which we can always ask for. He isn’t a stingy Lord. In fact, He is so generous that He gave His only son that we may be saved. Why would he not give us strength when we needed it? ask for it.
